When purchasing the layer chicken cage, the farmer should choose the appropriate cage according to the structure and size of the chicken house he built, and do not blindly choose the cage. Moreover, the manufacturer, quality and price of the equipment must be fully understood. Don’t just try to be cheap without considering quality issues, and the life of such a device won’t be too long. Considering it comprehensively, it is better to choose a device with reliable quality and suitable price. The authors below share the precautions of several farmers when choosing poultry farming equipment.
1. Before buying a poultry farming equipment, be sure to have a certain understanding of the equipment. Some manufacturers offer very cheap, but the materials and types used are suitable for their own chicken farms, which is worth considering. For example, there are three types of automatic feed lines for chicken farms: stainless steel chains, wire rope nylon scraper chains, and auger chains. Stainless steel chains are prone to breakage and have been phased out. The auger chain is generally cheap, but it can only be used in chicken houses under 50 square meters, otherwise the strips are easy to break and cause feeding. Wire rope nylon chain is the most common type used at present, and has been well responded.
2. Know the actual situation of your chicken farm and find out if the equipment is suitable for use. Some poultry farming equipment manufacturers do not consider the actual situation and will promote some inappropriate equipment.
3. To understand the characteristics of the equipment, understand the basic plan of the chicken house. Some equipment manufacturers aim to sell more products, not for chicken farm expenses. For example: automatic material line, if the spacing of the house is relatively short, if you feed the same feed, you can use one line for two houses; for large houses, if conditions permit, you can also use auger line and match. The combination of the feeding lines, so as to avoid the problem that the chicken farm must be fed with two feeding lines; if the feeding chicken or fattening chicken is not much, you can use a set of dry and wet feeding for two circles. The feeder can also ensure the feeding amount of the chicken and save the cost.
4. Shop around. Make as many quotations as possible for several equipment manufacturers to compare. Of course, when comparing, you can’t just understand the price. For example: the material of the equipment, the strength of the equipment manufacturer, what customers have been done, the customer’s response, how to deal with the after-sales service, how to install the team, etc.
