How to sterilize broiler houses?

The growth cycle of broilers is very short. This farmer knows that it can bring economic benefits to farmers quickly, so many farmers will choose to use broiler battery cages to breed broilers. After the farmers have released the next batch of broilers, no matter whether the chickens are infected or not, the pathogens will remain in the house and pollute the environment. Therefore, farmers should do a good job of disinfecting empty houses, so that the house has a clean and hygienic environment. The authors refer to the experience of broiler cage manufacturers to tell the method.

1. Clean up the chicken house: the speed of cleaning the house should be fast, and the cleaning should be thorough. Feeding equipment, such as drums, drinking fountains, plastic nets, light bulbs, thermometers and hygrometers, overalls and other utensils, should be moved outside the house. Thoroughly remove dirt such as chicken manure, feathers, coal ash, etc., clean the roof, walls, doors and windows, etc., so that there is no dust inside.

2. Cleaning the house: cleaning the floor, walls, doors and windows, etc. After soaking the utensils and equipment with disinfectant, rinse it with water and dry it; ask for no water on the floor of the house, and flush any surface in the house. No dead ends, no dirt attached. Pay special attention to the dust on the roof and clean it from top to bottom. The equipment and the ground can be sterilized after drying.

Chicken flocks need enough sunlight in winter.

3. Overhaul work: repair the house equipment, repair the net bed, maintenance circuit and heating equipment. The equipment can at least guarantee a batch of chickens, otherwise it should be replaced, and the damaged bulbs should be replaced. It is best to use energy-saving bulbs.

4. Control the external environment: remove the debris from the outside drainage ditch; remove the weeds around the chicken house; make the drainage smooth and not affect the ventilation. Repair the road outside the house and clean the factory area to avoid chicken droppings, feathers and garbage.

5. Disinfection of the house: Move the equipment and utensils into the house, close the doors and windows and the ventilation holes. It is required to be closed and tight without leakage, spray disinfection, ventilation after 10 hours of disinfection, and after 3-4 hours of ventilation, close the doors and windows. All the roof walls and net beds of the chicken house should be disinfected with high-efficiency and non-corrosive disinfectant, and prepared according to the specifications. Ground disinfection should be sprayed with 3% hot alkali water or lime.

6. Fumigation: Close the doors and windows and vents to check if the temperature and humidity meet the requirements. Solid formaldehyde and potassium permanganate fumigation are preferred. The specific requirements are room temperature 24 ° C, humidity 80%. The above fumigated drugs are calculated according to the area of the house, such as 21 g of potassium permanganate, 42 ml of formalin, and 21 ml of water. Make a fumigation basin every 10 meters in the corridor, put potassium permanganate in the basin, and mix well with water. Then quickly pour the formalin from the farthest end of the house, and seal the door immediately after the completion. During the empty house disinfection, no one or animal enters the house, and the doors, windows and vents are opened 24-36 hours after fumigation, and the air is fully ventilated.
